The project Adaptation of mosquito population control measures to climate change in Croatia (KK.05.1.1.02.0008) funded from the European Regional Development Fund, Operational Programme Competitiveness and cohesion 2014.-2020. officially begun. The project will be implemented by the Department of Biology, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, as the Host institution, and the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb, as the Partner institution. The principal investigator of the project is Branimir K. Hackenberger, PhD, full professor at the Host institution. The duration of the project is 36 months, until May 31st, 2023, with a total budget of 3.529.396,52 kn (2.860.294,99 kn non-refundable funds (supported by the European Regional Development Fund), and 383.310,98 kn from the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund).
