Dynamic Energy Budget Theory (DEB) mathematically describes how organisms assimilate energy from the environment depending on environmental conditions (e.g. food and temperature), and how assimilated energy is used for growth and reproduction. The development of one such model is also part of our project. The first activities related to the development of DEB models of mosquito species Aedes vexans was completed. Activity was provided by project members from the Ruđer Bošković Institute.
